Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week 2018 - How to Enter

Before you start your entry, you will need to read and familiarise yourself with the relevant Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week 2018 Notice of Race available for download here.  Please note that the Notices of Race 2018 will NOT be printed and are only available as electronic documents.

Online entry is now available for all events and classes in Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week 2018 (except for the Junior Dinghy Series), using the secure "WebCollect" portal.  For the Junior Dinghy Series, an entry form signed by a parent or guardian is required, but payment can be made online. See further details in the relevant section below.  

Alternatively, entries can submitted on paper forms available from RDYC or by download from the Race Documents page.  See further details in the relevant section below.  

Online entries can be seen immediately by clicking on the 'Booking - Show' link in WebCollect. In addition, all entries will be listed on the 'List of Entries 2018' page. If your entry does not appear there within 10 days of receipt of your payment, then please contact The Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week Office either by email or by telephone +44 1803 752704.

1. Entry for Senior Dinghies

To enter the Senior Dinghy Series please use the online entry system by clicking on ‘Enter Now’ below. The 2018 NoR can be read here.

Secure online entry uses the 'WebCollect' portal. The online form is simple and designed to guide you easily through the entry process. Payment may be made through PayPal (which includes options to pay by credit/debit card - you do not need a PayPal account) or by sending a cheque, or by cash at RDYC.

If you are unable to use the online entry system, then please download and print a paper entry form here, or collect one from RDYC. Payment can then be made by cash or cheque (made payable to Joint Regatta Sailing Committee).

All under 18 year old competitors (except if sailing with Parent/Guardian) MUST complete a consent form signed by their parent/guardian. (NOR 3.6). This can be downloaded here.

Please note that payment must be received by 00.01 hours on 1st August to qualify for the early payment discount.

Additional notes re online entry:

1. Registration with WebCollect will be required.  This should be in the name of the main contact person.  This may be different to the competitors' names which will be requested on the entry form.

2. The fee payable is calculated automatically according the days entered, and you then click on "Add to Basket", and then on 'Checkout', just like any other online purchase.

3. When you click on "Checkout" you will be asked to login or register, and then complete your entry details in the online form. Click on 'Save' and you will be taken to payment.

4. You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming your entry details.  A separate payment confirmation email will also be received, either direct from PayPal, or from WebCollect if paying by cash or cheque. Your entry can also be seen by clicking on 'Bookings - show', or under 'My entries' on the 'My account' page in WebCollect.

  

2. Entry for Junior Dinghies

To enter the Junior Dinghy Series, please download and print a paper entry/ parental consent form here, or collect one from RDYC. Payment can then be made by cash or cheque (made payable to Joint Regatta Sailing Committee), or you can use the online entry system by clicking on ‘Pay Now’ below. The 2018 NoR can be read here.

An entry/consent form must be submitted for each competitor.  Note in particular that separate forms are required for the helm and crew of a Feva.

Secure online payment uses the 'WebCollect' portal and PayPal (which includes options to pay by credit/debit card - you do not need a PayPal account).

Your entry will not appear on the 'List of Entries 2018' page until both the payment and the Entry/Parental Consent Form have been received (from both the helm and crew in a Feva).

Additional notes re online payment:

1. Registration with WebCollect will be required.  This should be in the name of the Parent or Guardian.  

2. The fee payable (inclusive of lunches) is calculated automatically according to whether the competitor is entering as helm (in a Topper, Tera or Feva), or as crew in a Feva. You then click on "Add to Basket", and then on 'Checkout', just like any other online purchase. If you are paying for entries for more than one child, these can all be added to the Basket and then paid for in one go. 

3. When you click on "Checkout" you will be asked to login or register, and then to give the competitor's name in an online form. If paying for more than one child, there will be a form for each child. Click on 'Save' and you will be taken to payment.

4. You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming your entry, and a separate payment confirmation email will also be received direct from PayPal. Your entry can also be seen by clicking on 'Bookings - show', or under 'My entries' on the 'My account' page in WebCollect.

 

3. Entry for the Yacht and Keelboats 4-day Series

To enter a yacht or keelboat (including Sportsboat, Classic Yacht and Gaffer) in the 4-day Series please use the online entry system by clicking on ‘Enter Now’ below. The 2018 NoR can be read here.

3. When you click on "Checkout" you will be asked to login or register, and then complete your entry details in the online form. If you are entering both the 4-day Series and the Sunday Race, you will be asked to fill in a form for each event. Click on 'Save' and you will be taken to payment.

4. You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming your entry details.  A separate payment confirmation email will also be received, either direct from PayPal, or from WebCollect if paying by cash or cheque. Your entry can also be seen by clicking on 'Bookings - show', or under 'My entries' on the 'My account' page in WebCollect.

 

4. Entry for White Sail Event

There is no Notice of Race for this event, but further details can be found here.

To participate in the White Sail Event, please use the online entry system by clicking on ‘Enter Now’ below, or download and print a paper entry form here, or collect one from RDYC. Payment can then be made by cash or cheque (made payable to Joint Regatta Sailing Committee).
